blog June 7

That's right folks, I missed a day of blogging. Totally my fault, I thought about it last night around 11pm and much as I love you guys, I was going to bed. The hunter's wife, Diana, stayed on the boat last night instead of joining the two guys hunting. It was rainy, cold and windy, I didn't blame her for staying here. We read books, made dip for chips, visited and totally enjoyed ourselves. So I'm not saying I was choosing her over you but, well, I guess I did. We moved to a new area today, have not been here before but I love the scenery. Hoping they are successful tonight but I think it's getting too late in the hunt to try and hit Baranoff Hot Springs. That's sad, it would have been fun to go back there. This time we would have walked up to the actual hot springs and spent some time there. Oh well, we are in a beautiful spot and bears have been seen in the past few days so maybe, just maybe. We have bbq hamburgers, corn casserole and roasted potatoes tonight. Going to make peanut butter and jam bars pretty soon. I'm roasting a few more potatoes to use for breakfast so have to wait until those are finished. The wind is blowing, not bad but just enough for the boat to swing around and give me a different view every few minutes, pretty nice. We are out of cell range this evening but when I talked to Byron earlier he said McMinnville temp was 94. Good grief, that is pretty unusual for June. And it's supposed to stay warm the rest of the week. Hope everyone takes care and watches for sunburn, drink lots of water. Listen to me, the person that hates water but will drink a can of Arnold Palmer Ice tea/lemonade mix at the drop of a hat. :-)
